Very simply, this idea thread is for finding and/or making video(s) any close comparisons between LEGO and the real world. I knew of a few areas in particular:
LEGO City - train stations mention a few real-world cities especially near Germany and Europe in general [need to list by set] LEGO City: Undercover - I have a promotional brochure thanks to PumpkinBricks that may help identify where this takes place. Offhand, this and Astor City from Ultra Agents resemble the island near New York, Long Island/Manhatten. I'm sure there's more to look at in LEGO City to compare to the real world. Atlantis - Dr. Artemis Rhodes mentions Mexico in his journal Adventurers and Pharaoh's Quest - both have adventures in Egypt, but the former also takes place in the Amazon, India, Himalayas and China (Orient Expedition). CMF - Roman Soldier and Roman Commander (and both Gladiators), Spartan Warrior, and Revolutionary Soldier. Pretty obvious, the last being American, as well as Lady Liberty and Abe Lincoln.
Plenty more to list, so go ahead!

I guess it does depend on the continuity, since in the LEGO Movie it seems like she can move just fine
